Meet Randy
Randy started his insurance career in 1998. After receiving his MBA from the University of Oklahoma, he went to work with The Hartford as an underwriter and underwriting manager. He started in the wholesale world in 2002 as a Casualty broker and helped Westrope develop their southwest region, growing into the role of Regional Director.
At the beginning of 2009, Randy came to work at Southwest Risk as the Casualty Manager, developing the direction of the casualty practice and expanding the company’s knowledge base, writings, and market presence in that discipline, while brokering and building his own book of business. Randy holds the CPCU designation, along with the AAI and AIS and completed the CIC.
When not engaged in the exciting world of insurance, Randy enjoys spending time with his family, coaching his kids’ basketball and volleyball teams, and is involved in his church, First Methodist Church Plano, serving on the leadership team.
